I never said "metaverse"

Pumpopoly is a virtual real estate simulator. I never said "metaverse"—not then and not now. Go back and do a search for yourself. "Metaverse" implies a linkage between different virtual worlds, a larger encompassing space. Pumpopoly has always been an economic simulator. Land is not a virtual meeting space; it is a dividend-paying game asset.

If you want to have a meeting, use a meeting app. There are several available for free. If you want to earn rental income, buy virtual real estate. It really is that simple.

Something to consider as the market cycles through new narratives and vaporware products: How many of the last cycle's narrative-driven products are still paying users? And the cycle before that?

Pumpopoly has been paying landlords since March 18th, 2022. The first 30 lands were listed for only 0.01 Pumpopoly tokens each. Today, the floor price for city land is 24.1498 tokens. That's an increase of over 241,300%. Few, if any, projects can make this claim—fewer still among those who chased the narrative du jour.

Pumpopoly has been designed from the beginning to be a long-term, sustainable virtual real estate economy. Payouts to landlords continue after almost 4 years. Land continues to sell out as the city grows.
